1. One of the boring GP if not the worst one of all.
2. Merc way off pace both on S and H tyre: at every restart, HAM was 1.2-1.5 sec/lap slower than VET, LEC and VER and BOT even 7 tenths further slower
3. Merc waited too long for an SC phase which unfortunately came too late and thus they have shut themselves in the foot for HAM staying way too long doing high 48 or low 49 meanwhile VET mid 45 and LEC & VES almost the same times.
4. HAM went from 1st at Hungary to 2nd at Spa, 3rd at Monza and 4th here. Could be 5th at Sochi?
5. Seems that Ferrari not only have caught them but now they are even faster due to their better PU and low drag philosophy.
6. RB also have caught them or are just about to have, knowing they are usually better in the second part regarding upgrades.
7. Merc seems to be focusing too soon on 2020 and could be surpassed until the end of the season, something like was happening 10 years ago with Brawn GP and RB ...
8. Hulk was fastest in the speed trap with 328km/h than VET with 327km/h ... how about that Renault PU???

When clear team orders are available to make fun of, and wave our hands in disgust, why are so many so quick to invent others?
Who else delivered team orders today?
Aren't you saying that Ferrari gave a team order (Vettel pit) to "screw" Charles?
WTF are you on about? Team orders are to the drivers. The team can’t give orders to themselves :wtf:

Bottas was told to go slow to not undercut Hamilton 8)
Yes. Hamilton had earned the position and was only in danger from his team mate because the team messed up the strategy call. That's fair and the opposite to what Ferrari did.

No idea what that means. US cultural reference?

Leclerc must not push Vettel this hard. They have to work together as a team..
"Why?" will be going through Leclerc's mind. Leclerc will feel he has been shafted by the team. He had done the hard work yesterday and today and the team gave Vettel track position. If Vettel were ahead because he'd done a better job all weekend and today then Leclerc would be happy to play the team game.
Vettel did a very good outlap, he basically caught 4 seconds. Seb was the guy behind, so they could and did "risk" him, no one knows how fast could the Mercedes go.

Vettel won the race when he cut through the traffic faster compared to Leclerc and Max.

The wrong driver won. I don't understand Ferrari's strategy.

Is that definition codified anywhere, or just more of your "expert" interpretations?

Well done Vettel! Helped by the strategy for sure, but he was in the position that allowed him that.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Aren't you and JaF saying (inventing) that Ferrari gave a team order (Vettel pit) to "screw" Charles?
No, not to "screw" Leclerc but to benefit Vettel.

Lesson for the leader - Don't drive too slow that, you create opportunities for cars behind to undercut you.

That's modern TV directing, sadly. It's all about the "human angle" etc. rather than the sport.

What's next? Mom's and Girl Friends' crying, with a bit of a flute music behind?

Music all the time during the race, dependant on who is being shown - mariachi music for Perez, hiphop for Lewis, some marching music for Vettel, circus music for Grosjean etc ...
