This is supposed to be a drawn that an Italian journalist made at the closed door presentation on Ferrari V6 engine

Note the position of MGU-H, is under the turbo

Seems to be a good arrangement if you're looking to both shorten the PU and minimise the ES cabling.

First shot of the F14T minus the engine cover. Not much detail shown thought. Based on the angle this must have been taken by someone in the Ferrari box. Looks like the launch spec rear wing is on the car, not the later one used at the final test.

Looks like it was taken from the video when the car was in the factory. Look at the background...

Interesting to see which wing which driver is using

It looks like the rear wing endplate has gained two vertical slots or strakes. I can't tell which.

EDIT: Never mind. They're reflections.



On a more personal note, I absolutely hate it when insomnia encourages me to look for even minute changes on F1 cars.

7 is kimi and 14 is Alonso
so its clear that old wing is kimi and new one alonso

Maybe they have both for evaluation purposes but in the end they'll both use the same one

And maybe they're both Spare Parts. So no One knows. We will have to wait until after the Qualifying to know what they will use.

Quite possibly they are completing some testing items that did not get done because of unforeseen delays at the last test.
