Scuderia Ferrari's Luca di Montezemolo, declared that the team will have the same driver line-up for the 2009 season. Both drivers have contracts for 2009, but both of them have been under fire during the current season. At the moment, it's Kimi Raikkonen and his performance that are under the microscope.

di Montezemolo said in the Italian newspaper 'Gazzetta dello Sport': "The criticism on Kimi Raikkonen remembers me of the time that Filippo Inzaghi played for Juventus. If he didn't score for 3 games, they questioned his qualities. Raikkonen remains motivated. He only needs to start faster, we still have to work on that. Especially on the new circuits, that I don't like at all and that aren't a good thing for F1, that's important. You just can't pass at those tracks. The driver who starts from pole position wins nine out of the ten times."

This ends the rumours that Fernando Alonso would join he red squad next season. "Too bad for Alonso, but he has to be patient," di Montezemolo added.
