Senna not to return to GP2?

By on

According to 'autosport', Bruno Senna, runner-up in the GP2 Series in 2008, will not return to Formula One's feeder category. Senna, who has been testing for the Honda Racing F1 Team at the end of last year, informed his team, iSport, that he will hold out for an opportunity in F1 in 2009.

It will be, however, difficult for the young Brazilian to find a seat in F1 for the upcoming season. Honda pulled out of the sport and nobody has stepped forward to take over the Brackley-based outfit. The only team that still has a vacant seat is the Scuderia Toro Rosso, but will they risk it to put two rookies in the car after earlier confirming Sebastian Buemi for the 2009 season?
