No serious buyers for Honda as of yet

Despite numerous discussions with possible buyers, the Honda Motor Co. still cannot find a buyer for its Brackley based F1 team. Not even the Virgin Group nor Bernie Ecclestone have managed to help it survive.

"There are various offers for the team but we have not seen any serious buyer yet. We find the sale process difficult," said current Honda CEO Takeo Fukui to 'Reuters'.

Reportedly their is a Mercedes engine deal on the table, but Mercedes needs to be assured of the teams financial stability in order to make the deal go through. The deadline being Monday afternoon.
