USF1 asked to change name
The American F1 team that used to be know as 'USF1', has been asked by Bernie Ecclestone and the FOM to change their logo and name, since 'F1' is registered as their legal property. From now they will run under the name of USGPE, which stands for US Grand Prix Engineering.
Another team that was contacted for similar reasons was Force India, who was asked to spell 'india', with lower case lettering. Since the abbreviation of the team resembled the 'F1' trademark.
