Further damage done to Piquet and Briatore's relationship

More damage has been done to the relationship between Nelson Piquet Jr. and Renault team boss Flavio Briatore, as both have directed angry words at each other over the past few days. Now it's Piquet's turn, as he blames Briatore for not respecting him and only caring about money.

Briatore recently slammed the youngster by saying that he 'opened a book of excuses' whenever good results weren't accomplished.

Now Piquet fired back and told 'Autosprint', "He is my manager. But in his role of team boss he doesn't respect me. He only thinks about money, about how much money he can pocket in everything he's involved with. He's a man with no friends."

Speculation has it that the Hungarian GP was the last race under which Piquet drove for Renault. The French outfit have yet to make an official announcement.
