The Bavaria City Racing event in Rotterdam attracted around 500.000 people to the Dutch city. The crowd enjoyed spectacular demonstration runs from WRC-cars, with Jari-Matta Latvala in the main role, Formula BMW, EuroBoss, Dakar cars and many more. But the icing on the cake were the demo's of the Formula One drivers.

Adam Khan, demonstration driver for the Renault F1 Team, has gained a lot of fans today thanks to a spectacular run filled with donuts. Red Bull Racing ambassador and reserve driver, David Coulthard, proved that he is still very popular amongst the motorsport fans. Besides two thrilling demo runs in his F1 car, DC made time to drive a young child around in a Bugatti Veyron for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

But the moment everybody was waiting for what came at the end of the day. The demonstration run of double World Champion Fernando Alonso. The young Spaniard put on an incredible show for the enthusiastic crowd which they won't easily forget.

The organisers of the Bavaria City Racing event can look back at a very successful 5th edition of the event and as title sponsor Bavaria signed a new deal for three years, we can expect another good show in 2010.
