Tonight Luca di Montezemolo will receive the 'Marca Leyenda' prize, a prestigious award the Spanish daily sports newspaper presents to athletes and personalities from the world of sport, in Madrid. Montezemolo is the 44th laureate receiving the award, which has been presented since 1997 to sportsmen like Usain Bolt and the Italians Alberto Tomba (1998) and Valentino Rossi (2008).

Marca honours Montezemolo for "his career" and as a "key player in the modern history of the best team in Formula One".

Montezemolo is the seventh personality connected to the world of motorsport receiving the 'Marca Leyenda' Award (a bronze sculpture by José Maria Onieva). He’ll answer questions, which have been collected in the forum posted by the newspaper’s readers, ranging from Formula 1 to the economic crisis. The prize giving will be held at the spectacular Torre Espacio in northern Madrid.
