Wednesday testing report -BAR Honda

B.A.R Honda’s winter testing programme kicked off this yesterday at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. Jenson Button and Anthony Davidson are driving for all three days of the test. The weather in Barcelona has been cold and sunny, with the very low early morning temperatures preventing much running before 10.30am.

Anthony Davidson drove the 2006 Concept car today for its first shakedown run. He completed a total of 40 laps with a satisfactory first day of running for the new chassis.

Jenson Button alternated his time on-track between this year’s 007-06 chassis and the 006-06 chassis from the 2004 season. He completed 75 laps and 27 laps respectively in the two cars.

Anthony will continue driving the Concept car tomorrow, with Jenson in chassis 007-06.
