Button doesn't deserve to be champion - Tamara Ecclestone

The daughter of the Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone, Tamara, has recently commented that fellow Brit Jenson Button doesn't deserve to be the 2009 Drivers Champion, as according to her he only won at the start of the season when his team had such a great advantage. And also that the sole reason for Button's success was his BGP001.

"I don't think Jenson Button deserves to be the F1 World Champion. He has been in it such a long time and never really came close to winning a championship. Suddenly the car is good and he's won the championship. He only won six races, and they were all at the beginning of the season," Ecclestone said to Englands 'Daily Mail' newspaper.

Adding lastly, “If they'd all had the same car, then Jenson Button definitely wouldn't have won this season."
