I would have fought to keep both drivers - Barrichello

Rubens Barrichello, who will make the switch from Brawn GP to Williams F1 in 2010, said to the Spanish newspaper 'Diario AS', that the Brackley-based outfit should have fought to keep the 2009 driver line-up which collected both championships and eight victories.

Barrichello said: "Honestly, if I was the owner of the team I would have fought to keep both (2009) drivers because of the work that was done during the season."

As Barrichello moves to Williams F1, Jenson Button, the 2009 World Champion, signed a contract with the McLaren F1 Team for next season. Brawn GP, now known as Mercedes GP, will race with Nico Rosberg in 2010.
