Honda thinks of global appeal

By on

Emphasising the Honda Racing F1 Team's global appeal, a new Brazilian Portuguese language version of HondaRacingF1.com has been launched. It brings to nine the total number of languages available on the team website, making it one of the most accessible Formula One websites available to global motor sport followers.

It is no coincidence that the new language site arrives on the same day that new driver, Rubens Barrichello, gets his first taste of the all-new RA106 chassis at the 2006 team launch in Barcelona. Rubens arrives at the team nine months after fellow countryman Gil de Ferran, Sporting Director since April 2005.

Formula One devotees will also be aware of Brazil's rich racing pedigree, producing top flight F1 drivers over the years such as Nelson Piquet, Emerson Fittipaldi and, of course, Ayrton Senna to name but a few. The addition of Brazilian Portuguese will allow the massive fanbase in South America to keep up-to-date with all the latest news from the Honda Racing F1 Team.
