Formula E: Key facts after the Jakarta round

Following his brilliant start to the season, Nissan driver Oliver Rowland is still hanging on to his commanding lead in the drivers' standings. F1Technical's senior writer Balazs Szabo delivers some key facts after the Jakara E-Prix.

First - Cupra Kiro driver Dan Ticktum secured his maiden victory at the Jakarta E-Prix. The 26-year-old driver has completed 60 Formula E races so far, and grabbed his first podium finish in this season's Tokyo race. His brilliant win saw Ticktum move up to fifth place in the drivers' standings.

Twelve - Twelve rounds are done and dusted, after Sao Paulo, Mexico, Miami and Jakarta having hosted a single race while Jeddah, Monaco and Shanghai played host to double headers.

Eight - Twelve races - eight winners. Eight different drivers have taken victories so far in 2024/2025. Oliver Rowlands won in Mexico, Jeddah, Tokyo and Monaco.

Mitch Evans came out victorious at Sao Paulo, Maxmilian Guenther emerged as winner in Mexico and Shanghai, Pascal Wehrlein won the Miami E-Prix. Former Formula E champion Sebastien Buemi crossed the finish line first in Monaco while Stoffel Vandoorne won the opening race in Tokyo. Nyck Cassidy secured victory in the second Shanghai race while Dan Ticktum took his maiden Formula E victory in Jakarta.

69 points - Despite failing to score more than a single point in Jakarta, championship leader Oliver Rowland managed to increase his lead in the drivers' standings. The British driver finished in P10, but his closest rival Pascal Wehrlein ended up outside the top ten which means that the Nissan driver extended his lead by a championship unit to 69 points.

Tight battle - While Rowland has a commanding lead in the drivers' standings, his team, Nissan is twelve points adrift of championship-leading Porsche. With two double headers still to go, there battle is tight in the teams' standings, with DS Penske still having an outside chance, albeit they trail Porsche by 58 points.

Maloney and Beckmann - There are still two drivers without a single point in the standings. Lola Yamaha driver Zane Maloney recorded his best finish at Shanghai with an 11th place finish. The Cupra Kiro racer achieved a 13th place finish at Tokyo which is his best finish so far in 2025.

Four - There are four races left to go in the 2024/2025 FIA Formula E season. The all-electric series is set to race in Berlin next weekend while the curtain is due to fall at London, with both venues scheduled to host two races.
