Dry conditions for Honda on third day of testing

By on

After two days of rain and cold conditions, which have interrupted the test programme in Valencia this week, the weather improved this morning to allow a full day of dry testing for the Honda Racing F1 Team.

Jenson Button joined the team in Valencia today and took over the testing responsibilities for the RA107 car from Rubens Barrichello. Jenson continued the set-up and evaluation programme of the new chassis, completing a total of 79 laps today.

James Rossiter completed only an early installation run in the RA106 as the team decided to focus all its efforts on the RA107 programme for the remainder of the test.

Due to the disruption caused by the weather this week, the test has been extended by a day and Jenson will continue his running in the RA107 tomorrow.
