Sebastien Bourdais, who will race for Toro Rosso next season, collected the Road America win that he has been threatening to score for four years. Bourdais was faster than Dan Clarke and Graham Rahal. Robert Doornbos, who is second in the standings, only finished 14th.

Sebastien Bourdais "It is obviously one of the best weekends for us this season. The McDonald's car was great from the beginning when we unloaded to the end. It was a great team win."

Next up is a European vacation for the Champ Car World Series as it heads to Zolder, Belgium and Assen, Holland for its next two events. The Champ Car Grand Prix of Belgium will run from August 24-26 and of course F1Technical will be present to report on the event.
