Doornbos in talks with Williams and Toyota
Robert Doornbos, the Dutch test driver of the Red Bull Racing Team and at the moment the number 2 in the Champ Car Series standings, is in negotiations with Toyota and Williams about his return to Formula One in 2008.
The manager of Doornbos, Christian Geistdorfer, declared to the Dutch magazine F1 Race report, that there are talks between Doornbos and the above named team, but that the Dutch driver has no interest driving for Spyker F1.
This weekend Doornbos is in his home town, Rotterdam, for RaceSalon and the Bavaria City Racing event. Next weekend, the first European race of the Champ Car Series is scheduled at Zolder.
