Are there any long-run comparisons (other than the merc/RB/ferrari one)? Haven't seen a lot related to the teams that weren't 2021 front runners or Ferrari so far.

No comparisons, but here you can see all the rounds from every driver during all three days.

Thanks, I did see this one from you before indeed - but was hoping someone already did the data processing

I think its great that it looks like battle between Merc, Ferrari and RB will make for a good season if it does, probably a few that look like they may push. But I think its hard to be certain who will win the driver and constructors championships is great to have
At the moment, I am not that sure Merc will be in that group, for the first race at least

It doesn´t matter who was in Mercedes, the laugable part of your comment is that they were the only team without TOs

The only team to allow their drivers to race each other is not the same as the only team without TOs?

Sorry, but that statement is even more wrong. Most teams at most times allowed their drivers to race eachother. They were not racing the dominant MB anyway for the title. Even though that led to crashes between teammates, say RB in Baku.

Hamilton and rosberg were free to race for the champion because they were guaranteed one of them would win. The team had nothing to lose.

And even in those few seasons that RB/ferrari did challenge MB, they rarely issued team orders (they did not need to because one driver performed much better than the other), despite fighting a mostly uphill battle vs mercedes over the season as a whole. They certainly didnt have more team orders than Mercedes itself, and quite possibly less - but that's a counting exercise I rather leave to others.

Could you tell me when was the last time in f1 history team mates where allowed to fight for the championship?
We may have to go back to the 80s
I know they didn't have nothing to lose, but the statement saying if merc will allow Lewis and George to race for championship is completely wrong.. they were the only team since 2014 who allowed this. Even in 2019 ferrari could not resist to impose team orders in the first race even when they had a very strong car.

And go back in to the annals of F1 history and you find drivers being required to give up their car for their team mate. And yet no one has a go at Fangio's record. It just seems to be a certain bloke that is held to a higher required standard than every other champion in F1 history. Funny that.
