Red Bull RB18

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

High DF rear wing, similar shape to what MCS started out with, and what Ferrari is also running this weekend

Am I right in thinking these are two different rear wings. The first one looks a lot bigger than the second one
Just the angle. The first looks bigger because we're looking down onto it; second is raised so you can't see most of the main plane

Michael Schmidt from AMuS reports RB is losing 5kgs in Spain:
In the meantime, Red Bull has completely trimmed off the flab. For the Spanish GP, another five kilograms were saved. That puts them close to the limit.
Note that this is 2kgs lower than the first report from racingnews365 about RB losing 7kgs

Exactly the same one they used in the preseason testing in Barca.

They aren't new. I think they are depressions for the lower wishbone movement envelope.

Front area of the floor below the sidepod/cooling inlet looks quite a bit different.
