It is not about the cooling solution in general, just about the radiators they use, and it's safe to assume that they still use those "special" ones, we'll know how they are placed and how many they have once we see the car without the engine cover/sidepods .charlex wrote:in 2014 season.. no one knows! The cooling systems are very different this year compared to last year. If Ferrari had discovered something new in this area certainly wouldnt go to tell reporters!!RZS10 wrote:from AMuS:

Question: Ferrari's new cooling system seems to be more efficient, do they have an exclusive deal with the manufacturer or could other teams use that system as well and tighten up their sidepods?
Answer: We know for sure that Ferrari used innovative radiators from a US manufacturer last year. The competing teams assume that they are using them this year also. We know that Mercedes engineers considered a change to be too high-risk. Most other teams probably use conventional radiators as well. There is no exclusive deal as far as we know. The technology behind those radiators is very complicated and expensive.
iirc the 'special radiators' theory has been discussed on this forums (just don't know with what conclusion)
