When I generated a power curve for the Ferrari at Singapore, using data helpfully extracted from video by @mudflap, I found the power peak at around 11200rpm. Roughly mid way between 10500 and the shift pointvat 11800.

I'd be interested in hearing how you did that.

Interesting quote from Sainz about the Renault engine:

So BP still needs to catch-up on the anti-knock front. This is probably a major reason why Renault has struggled so much with their engine relative to Merc and Ferrari.

You think they're working with Petrobras? Considering McLaren will be Renault's only customer next year, one would hope they form a stronger alliance.

Petrobras probably have their own separate program. Engine collaboration is unlikely to be extended to fuel.

At least they’re trailing ideas. Maybe after it fell off in Austria they saw gains in the data

they tested this area twice during gps with meassure equipment, the interesting part will be if they ditch this nosecone concept completely for next year

Those sensors were for ride height measurement. Probably seeing how much the front wing stalls in corners. Strake vortexes and y250 will be an area of focus in 2019 given absence of other outwash elements like cascades.
