I dont see Vettel closing up 9secs and having tyres left to challenge when he gets there
If he gets there he will HAVE to give it a go. However Verstappen is opening up that gap. Well done Lewis Hamilton. 5 time WDC.

That is no way to talk about a 5 time WDC.
Just doing the same which has been done to a 4 time WDC for weeks.

Hamilton is not flawless.
Difference is his mistakes dont cost him a race, or in accumulation a championship
Question of pressure. Hamilton drives pretty riskless. He knows his team is the best. Not to mention other factors differentiating pressure on each driver.

What are you talking about? His tyres were dead, he locked up. He took correct action to go wide over the grass. There's nothing here.

Pirelli wrecked this race, everyone just looking after their tyres.

We really need a tyre war.

Vettel’s tyres were gone in Bahrain when he was being chased for several laps. Did he lock up?

Mate, the cars have developed massively since then. Bahrain is like talking about the 17th century at this point. Different circuit, different air, different surface, different track, different way the tyres etc. etc. there's literally nothing to bash any driver here. But if it makes you feel better carry on lel *shrug*

He hasnt had the best car all year though?

Its not riskless, he takes the risk when its needed but otherwise he knows when to play the long game. Look at Vettel in Japan, the example of a man who cant see the wood through the trees. No reason for the risk yet he did it anyway and lost.

Hamilton hasnt not had pressure this year, he has just handled it better
