"It would be great for the sport and for the fans if we could have some battles" - Charles give him a good fight, the guy starts crying out loud because he didn't let him win. I know they are all the same, but the PR from Mercedes and Lewis is all a big pille of BS.
See Lewis' instagram post. He has no complaints.

He even gave Leclerc the bro handshake right at parc ferme. Yes, Lewis can be a complainer on the board radio, but then again half the grid is. Lewis was also very accepting of how the new norm will be concerning racecraft.

We had some hard racing and old fashioned Monza support for Ferrari, according to true F1 tradition. And it wasn’t that bad, nice to see Leclec able to celebrate after last weeks black weekend.

Also nice to see that the drivers are developing as different characters on track.

Vettel on the other hand... damn... looked like a rookie out there.

Yep. He will need to sit out until 2021 to see if the ground effect cars lead to a more solid back end of the car, in which case he can probably compete. But to keep a proper seat until then... He's not helping himself with these spins.

I can't believe I'm defending a Ferrari driver here, however he didn't move twice iirc, he moved to defend then moved back to the racing line which is legal.
Actually, in that case he did break the rules. There is a specific rule about moving back to the line after moving to defend. It's the actual rule where leaving a car's width is mentioned, although people talk about leaving width all the time, this is the one case where it really is in the rules.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

I really hope Vettel bounces back and gives a challenge to Lec. Very depressing to see him fade away especially after he was beginning to show some form at the beginning of the weekend.

Vettel is totally perplexing. I dont believe any top team is interested in his services. I dont even believe that if a MCL or Renault drive (top of tier-2) were to mysteriously become available that he would be in the running.

It strengthens his legacy at his age to call it a day. The retrospective on his career can then be chaptered: 1 - the successful Redbull years, 2 - the Ferrari years & his deterioration.

Better tyres would have made the fight bettween leclerc and ham last longer an more interesting. Soon ham tyres started to blister he had no chance of fighting as he was losing time in braking.

Oh rubbish, it's no different than a yellow card in soccer!

The black flag with white meatball means "do it again and you are off" and if you paid any attention to the radio calls, you would have heard Charles engineer tell him in no uncertain terms not do it again.
but he did do that again after the flag
I think you are referring to where he moved at the very last second to block Hamilton's overtake attempt?

I agree this should not be accepted. However, the thing is they allowed it already in the past with Verstappen and Magnussen for instance. The geni is out of the bottle with that, so we are looking at a move that is now allowed I guess?
I can't even keep track anymore of the dumb rules they came up with in recent years, that's not really enforcaebla unless they want the race to devolve into a farce or centipede. Move only once, don't move while braking, etc.
Just keep it simple and say don't cause a collision, and they'd decide case-by-case. Meanwhile they started allowing drivers being pushed off the racetracks, with Verstappen's move in Austria, and now here via Sainz and Leclerc, which is more dangerous...

Hopefully they'll trim down this nonsense as well for 2021. (If the following goals are accomplished they might not come up)

And since Magnussen got aways with actually causing a collision with Leclerc in Hungary a year ago, it would have been odd if this was punished.
Besides I don't think it can be counted as moving twice. Since het got on the outside in the exit of the first turn, which they do anyway judging by the pole lap (though not as early) and moved right for the second turn.

Merc could have put him on Hards. Leclerc could push all the way. Ofc Hamiltons tyres still get stressed more since he's in dirty air.

I think Vettel is just burnt out and will retire on his own. Maybe this year or drag it on till the end of his contract.

Better tires would help with a lot of things.

But it probably would have also helped if Hamilton got hards instead of mediums.

TBH the last 4 words in that post screams impartiality from yourself though.
If i get the word impartial correct, it means i am being fair? (Sorry but english is not my main language)

That's exactly what Toto Wolff said, stewards would have needed a police escort had they penalized Leclerc
Same applies to Austria if they had penalised Max. It was not 100% fair then and it was the same at Monza.

Hamilton's hunt for Leclerc. Full second stint. Nothing really happened in the first one, just hamilton sitting at 1s gap for most of it. Mercedes being absurdly slow on the straights actually made ferrari look better than they actually were.

Everybody speaks about the moment of Leclerc and Hamilton, but the fight between Sainz and Albon was way more dangerous, and i don't think that Sainz had a penalty.

Agreed, surprised he was let off without a penalty. Caused Albon to loose 3 places nearly.
