when Merc f*ck up, it is always great.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

return of the Dark Prince!

And to all of you that believe Ferrari intentionally screwed Leclerc, well, you don't have a clue about tactics...

Aren't you saying that Ferrari gave a team order (Vettel pit) to "screw" Charles?
WTF are you on about? Team orders are to the drivers. The team can’t give orders to themselves :wtf:
Is that definition codified anywhere, or just more of your "expert" interpretations?
I wasn’t aware that the logic needed to see ‘team orders’ means that a team could not order ‘themselves’ requires me being an expert. :wtf:

Leclerc very firmly refusing to publicly slam the team in the post race interview. He's good at the political game it seems, knows when not to lose his rag in public (hint: Seb should pay attention to that).

The wrong driver won. I don't understand Ferrari's strategy.
Ferrari wanted to undercut Hamilton.
I think Vettel coming out in front of Leclerc was unintended, he was some 3s behind, which should've been enough, but Charles tires fell terribly to the point Hamilton was actually looking to overtake on what should've been a push lap for him.

Unusual circumstances but it happened.

Mercedes needs to let it go on the overcuts, that was obviously dumb.

2 reasons why Charles didnt win:

1.)
He managed the pace, but Vettel did too, thus when he bolted, they all could stay with him. Not knowing how much faster Mercedes could be, they needed Charles as a ‘road block’, thus pitting Vettel first was safer.

2.)
Vettels outlap was astonishing and perhaps just better than anticipated. I dont think Ferrari thought he would stay in front of Leclerc, it was just that close and worked out that way.

Luck of the draw so to speak. It just happens. Best thing for Ferrari, is that they might now have two drivers on form rather than just one.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Vettel really is blind to everything else but himself.
He is gifted a race win and he acts like he won it on his own merits.
Hey Vettel have a quick look to your right. Do you see your peed off team mate. Why do you think that is?

All orders are team orders. Strategies are picked by super computers, and the call is made by a team member which one to follow.

That it's a "team order".

Wonder if you said the same during Monza's Q3 when little boy peed Vet as well...

Where does this venom come from? Hatred is usually a very serious side effect of impotent jealousy.

I hope you get well soon.

I think you will find that I said that I agreed to totally with Vettel in Monza and couldn’t blame him for being angry.

That’s what being fair an impartial looks like.

I just call a spade a spade. Just so you know I was totally behind Vettel when he was screwed in a Monza during qualifying.

I guess I’m just impartial which some find hard to understand.

Anyone whinging about Ferrari’s strategy. Seriously? It was a masterclass. If they hadn’t managed the pace in the early phase, merc would have undercut them. See Bottas’ Pace after dropping back from Hamilton... over a second faster than Vettel’s lap at the same point in the race. They managed it perfectly, and got a 1-2.

Meanwhile Mercedes is telling one of their own drivers to... drive... slowly... to benefit the other driver. That’s almost unprecedented
