- "we win and we lose together"
- no blame culture
- great team, so grateful
Bad weekend:
- poor, very poor performance from the team
- radio silence after the race
- no learnings for me personally but for the team definitely
Take a page from George Russell when we saw him go ballistic at Imola in a way we've never seen from Lewis.aMessageToCharlie wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 16:52Good weekend:

Talk is cheap. Take a page out of George Russell's book from Bahrain 2020 on how to "graciously" handle a complete Merc cock-up.
What makes it even more amusing is that no one seems to have minded the absolute tantrum Verstappen threw the day before.
Absolutely. But in private.dans79 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 15:15You also need to apportion blame when appropriate, because if you don't people don't learn anything.
That's why in a lot of organizations determining root cause is very important, they need to determine what the problem was, if it was caused by an individual, and what needs to be done to fix it!
Agree.
During the recent BBC Williams documentary Frank Dernie said Mansell was a nightmare to manage during races and would talk and talk on the radio. At times Dernie would become so frustrated he’d yell “just drive the F*****G car” and then throw his headset down.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 18:38We also have to understand that having access to all of this is pretty new.
Can you imagine Mansell, Senna, Piquet, etc all mic’ed up like this?
It’s kind of like dash cams, just because we can see it now, doesn’t mean it was any less and possibly more crazy in the past.
Exactly yeah. Also it seems like FOM picks a whipping boy every weekend or so to --- on.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 18:38We also have to understand that having access to all of this is pretty new.

Not many bad weekends when you have 98 wins is it?!aMessageToCharlie wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 16:52Good weekend:

Yeah, Hamilton has always been a fickle emotional type. He's had a handle on it recently (current location has the best fans, we've just got to go back to the factory and work hard, etc etc), with all the winning its been easy for him, but it's always there under the surface.aMessageToCharlie wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 16:52Good weekend:
