Ferrari F2012

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

That's not at all surprising.

(Sorry. I couldn't resist.)
Lol. You're entitled to that one. One time. No more :p

Will revisit this tomorrow. :D

Thats no reflection Mr. Spock...lol
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Definitely a slot. You can see the difference in the shadows.

Can't see how this will be legal though.

Perfect. I'm glad you posted that.

What's the most likely explanation for a "slot" that appears identically on both the front and back of a wing?

This thread in particular seems to get hijacked by people seeing revolutions in F1 design that simply do not exist. And I understand; it's really difficult to go against what your eyes are telling you to be true.

It's just frustrating is all.

Three pages, twenty minutes, one reflection.

In regard to a possible slot....

How was the rear wing F duct banned? What rule was change? Nothing is jumping out at me in the rules in this area in regard to holes in the body work. Was the source of air flow removed as another possibility.

There's no possible slot. The minds in F1 are bright enough that any possible slot would have appeared last year, likely from McLaren in a bid to catch up with Red Bull.

Once more, there's no possible slot.
