Hamilton not to test for McLaren before launch MP4-24

Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton will not test for McLaren prior to the new car's launch. The McLaren Mercedes F1 Team will launch its 2009 contender at their factory on January 16. Hamilton said at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year event: "I plan to take a holiday and return fresh and positive to kick start our winter test programme with the MP4-24."
