Brawn GP and Star Trac, the fastest-growing company in the commercial fitness industry, have recently combined to kit out the Fitness Centre at the team’s headquarters in Brackley. Star Trac have installed their most up-to-date equipment in the team’s Fitness Centre including Spinner NXT bikes, E-TBT total body trainers, E-UB upright bikes, E-TR treadmills, impact equipment and a range of Star Trac dumbbells.

The demanding working environment of Formula One requires the team to be fit and healthy and the Fitness Centre facility enables Brawn GP’s employees to exercise and unwind after work. The Fitness Centre is largely self-funding with employees paying a monthly contribution towards the cost of maintenance and the on-site fitness manager.

Ross Brawn, Team Principal of Brawn GP said: "We are extremely pleased with our new partnership with Star Trac and the quality of the equipment that they have provided for the recent upgrade to our Fitness Centre. Working at the top level of motorsport in the pressurised environment of Formula One requires a huge level of commitment from our staff. We strongly believe that investing in facilities which will improve their fitness and lifestyle will result in a happy and productive team."

Matt Pengelly, UK Managing Director of Star Trac commented: "Star Trac are very proud to be working so closely with Brawn GP as the chosen fitness supplier for the team. It is fantastic to receive recognition for the quality and innovation that Star Trac equipment offers from such a prestigious and respected company. We hope that the newly equipped Fitness Centre offers Brawn GP employees a welcome place to work out before or after a busy day."
