Barcelona F1 Test: driver programme

By on

The Formula One teams have stayed at Circuit de Catalunya following this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, ready to kick off a two day test at the same circuit, starting on Tuesday.

At the test, some teams are expected to try further upgrades, with McLaren already confirming a few updates on their MP4-29. Jenson Button will be the first to try those out before Stoffel Vandoorne takes over the wheel on Wednesday. The young Belgian will make his debut in this year's McLaren.

Also debuting for an official test will be Susie Wolff at Williams on Wednesday after Felipe Massa completes the first day.

It will also be interesting to see what teams are going to try new exhausts to increase noise of the engines, as discussed in earlier strategy meetings between teams. Mercedes for one have already confirmed to be trying a solution for that.
