Aston Martin have become the latest team to reveal 2024 F1 car launch plans with the Silverstone-based squad set to take the covers off their AM24 two weeks before the pre-season testing.

Williams and Sauber have already revealed their plans with the British and Swiss team set to kick off their seasons on February 5. Ferrari have also confirmed their launch date with their new car set to be revealed on February 13.

Aston Martin have now joined the three teams, announcing that their new challenger - the AMR24 - will be unveiled at Silverstone on Monday February 12.

Aston Martin kicked off their 2023 season in electric fashion, but their performance started to vane in the middle of the championship as they struggled to match the development curve of their rivals, Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren. While they were locked in a championship battle with Mercedes for second place in the 2023 constructors’ championship, they slipped back to fifth position in the end.

Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll are set to drive for Aston Martin for a second year together. The Spaniard finished fourth in the Drivers' Championship, while the Canadian driver took 10th.
