Before Robert launched his motorsport career after attending the 1998 Belgian GP, he was working hard to become a tennis pro in The Netherlands. So Robert didn’t have to think long when he was invited by Dutch broadcaster RTV Rijnmond to visit the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in his hometown Rotterdam! After watching the game between Ferrer and Roche, Robert was also very keen to play a bit himself against one of RTV’s reporters as the cameras rolled.

Robert Doornbos has also planned to take part in the Melbourne Pit Stop Tennis Pro Am game on the Tuesday (13/03) before the Australian GP, after being invited by the Mark Webber Challenge Foundation. Next to his Red Bull colleagues Mark Webber and Scott Speed, also Christijan Albers, Alexander Wurz and Nick Heidfeld will attend the event.
