Following last week’s test in Barcelona, the Honda Racing F1 Team’s test programme has now moved to southern Spain for a three-day outing with the RA108 car at the Circuito de Jerez. The weather today was ideal for testing with warm sunny conditions and a slight breeze picking up over the course of the afternoon. Rubens Barrichello and Alex Wurz began the week’s programme with Jenson Button joining the team this evening ready to commence his testing duties tomorrow.

Rubens’ programme for the day focused on general set-up evaluation alongside a race start programme, covering 75 laps over the course of the day.

Alex had his second full day of running in the RA108 and spent the morning session becoming fully acclimatised to the car. He focused on a driveability programme in the afternoon session, finishing the day with a total of 86 laps.
