Alonso doesn't see Hamilton as title favourite

Fernando Alonso believes that his former team mate, Lewis Hamilton, is not the favourite for the 2008 title. Hamilton took the lead in the championship standings after his victory at Monaco, but Alonso believes that the Ferrari drivers are still the favourites.

Fernando Alonso said in an interview with the Spanish radio station 'Cadena SER': "It is too early to say how the championship is going to end. We have seen the lead change a few times now, but even the fourth place, Kubica, is only a stone's throw away.”

Concluding the interview, the Spaniard said: "I see the favourites still as the two Ferraris, by a long way. Do I think Hamilton can do it? No."
