Ecclestone full of praise for Alonso and Kubica
Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has made some interesting comments on Lewis Hamilton today. According to Ecclestone at least two of Hamilton's key rivals would beat the Briton in the same car and that would be Fernando Alonso and Robert Kubica.
In an interview with the British newspaper 'The Times', Ecclestone said he ranks Alonso as the best current driver on the grid. "If he (Alonso) was still in a McLaren he would be showing Lewis the way home. I don't think there is any doubt about that."
Not only Alonso, but also Robert Kubica is highly rated by Bernie: "If you saw him (Kubica) in a McLaren or a Ferrari, I think I'd put my money on him blowing away Hamilton."
