Looks like there is a winglet way back on the endplate right over the third wing element. I havent seen that before??

That's not a turning vane – a turning vane is (as you might expect) a vane designed to turn air around the car. The uprights next to the side pods are called turning vanes because they take air that has been pushed sideways by the wall of car coming towards it, and turns it to flow down the side of the car instead.

But they said that they could not bring the complete upgrade to Turkey because they do not understand it yet..I hope they figure it out till spain..

Just looking at last year, I'd rather give McL and RBR a bigger head start than just 4 races Hell, ferrari came back from half way through the season and *still* nearly won.

I remember Alonso saying the exact opposite, that it would not be a revolution..
Just smaller updates to make the car quicker.

I remember Alonso saying the exact opposite, that it would not be a revolution..
Just smaller updates to make the car quicker.

Struggling to find a link now, but last week they were claiming to have found a second. Today Alonso is indeed saying "it's not a revelation, but we'll improve again in barcelona".

Tombazis said that they changed their working procedures a lot due to the problems they were having, and that the update for Turkey was still developed under the old procedures. So they don't know if it will really work, which led them to only bring part of it here (mainly front and rear wings), and to review the rest under the new procedures in time for Barcelona.

So even if they don't make a big step here, the season will only really start in Barcelona for them.
