According to Gazetta Dello Sport the F150 will use the same suspension at Spa which has trouble heating up the hards. I wonder what was so bad about the one that could actually heat the hard tyres up. Maybe it hurt rear traction?

What is the purpose of the airfoil shape on the outboard edge of the exhaust? It's cambered which would give the impression it would create a sideforce towards the outside of the car...

Only thing I could come up with would be to create a vortex from the air that will be angled inward to avoid the rear tire, but you'd think that sort of airfoil wouldn't be necessary just to create a vortex.

Thanks for the help and if this has been answered previously, I apologize. I'm just getting back to F1T after a few months absence.

Could assist the exhaust's function as an aspirator. Quite a few cars have that feature btw.

It sucks in a bit of air towards the exhaust and lowers pressure infront of the tyre. It is probably there to send a high pressure stream down the side of the tyre to separate the hot gasses from the sidewall and as someone else said it will help with creating the vorticies which make that EBD solution so effective.

Looks like it deflects air towards the cutout in the floor.

Is it really cambered? It looks to me like the camber is a Parallax effect. I think it's actually standing vertical

The camber of the wing is reffing to the a line drawn between the trailing and leading edges. If the airfoil isn't symetrical about that centre line, then the airfoil is cambered. The % of camber is based on the ratio of distances of the furtherst point of the upper surface to the furthest point of the lower surface when both are measured from the camber line.

What you are referring to is dihedral angle.

Eh? I'm talking about the airfoil outside of the exhaust you were commenting on
