Rules in that area are more restrictive than in 2009 AFAIR. In 2009 we saw bigger vanes there.
Rules for the brake ducts are the same since FIA allowed aero pieces there. 06 I believe.

Nice Picture. Thanks for sharing Forza. Lovely detail work on the Ferrari.....great to see the developements coming.....I suppose the blowing some of the hot side pod air into the coke bottle and trying to lower the pressur in that area....or mayber for better cooling for the radiators/internal flow.

IMO mostly the second reason (better cooling) and positive side effect the first one (feed more air to rear).

Also on the floor where it is bent up it looks like there is 2 piece on that fold up or perhaps a very thin slit/slot cut into it. now how does that help?

Is that a mini monkey seat on top of the rear light? don't remember seeing it before.

I don't think it's the crash structure. It looks like some handle of some tool.

Looking at this photo you can see that there is only one hole on the FWEP footplate...we can't see if it is the wing with the new upper flap or the old one

Image

EDIT: Actually looking at this photo it is the wing used in Malaysia

This looks like a new wing, with more curved upper flaps. Can't tell which style endplate is being used. Also the camera pod location has been moved to the nosecone from its former location aft of the main plain between the pylons:
