Giedo van der Garde and the Spyker F1 Team seem to be very confident that there are no further problems concerning their contract. Last week Spyker F1 announced 4 test drivers. Among them, Giedo van der Garde who has been given the role of test- and reserve driver. The Dutchman made his F1 debut last week with Super Aguri as he was announced as their third driver for the upcoming season in December 2006.

After the announcement of Spyker F1, Super Aguri declared that they still have a valid contract with van der Garde. Today, the Dutch driver, who still hasn't obtained his super license, was present at the team's launch in Silverstone. Colin Kolles said: "Giedo is with us and there is nothing more to say about it!"
