Ferrari can't catch McLaren - Keke Rosberg

Keke Rosberg, the former F1 Champion, declared this weekend to German F1 broadcaster 'Premiere' that he doesn't believe Ferrari will be able to catch up their deficit. Although the Scuderia dominated the Turkish GP weekend, Rosberg is convinced that the gap between Ferrari and McLaren is too big.

Keke Rosberg said: "Ferrari were simply stronger here, but I do not believe that Ferrari can catch up their deficit. It is just too much."

Between the two McLaren drivers, Rosberg expects a very tough fight as there are only 5 points between them at the moment: "With the five points between Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, their fight will now become a war of nerves."

Although Ferrari dominated the weekend, the former Champion believes that Nick Heidfeld is the one and only star from the Turkish Grand Prix. The BMW Sauber F1 Team driver finished the race in 4th position and has been putting down strong performances all year. Rosberg said: "He is praised far too rarely, because he has nothing to do with the title fight."
