Luca Filippi, who was linked with Super Aguri, will race for the ART Grand Prix GP2 team next season. The young Italian, finished fourth during the 2007 GP2 season, will team up with Romain Grosjean. Filippi is still in the running for the test driver seat with Honda.

Luca Filippi said: "I'm really pleased because I tested with different teams this winter and I enjoyed a lot the work we did together with ART. I found a very professional team and very motivated people. I think that with my potential and the one of the team our aim has to be the title. My personal goal will be to fight for wins in every single race weekend and I think that with my experience and with the help of the team we will be able to achieve that."

Nicolas Todt, Team co-owner of the ART Team, said: "I'm extremely pleased we reached an agreement with Luca because he's a very talented driver. His approach is extremely professional and he has quite a lot of experience in the series, which will be useful in aiming for the top step."
