Mclaren didn't invent that rear wing concept(Williams did in 09), and as for the front wing it's a Monaco special that's similar to last year's Ferrari Monaco special much more so than that god awful 3 year old Merc wing. Not quite the copywork you've implied.bot6 wrote:Well, they fired Costa because he wasn't imaginative enough, basically. And now, they just copy other teams' stuff instead of going their own way. I have no problem with F1 teams taking hints off each others work, none at all. But when you say "we will now be inventive and imaginative" and then just copy other people's stuff, that seems a bit hypocritical.
Not really.bot6 wrote:I don't think these are Costa upgrades. If they announce his departure now, that probably means he's been out of the loop for at least a month.
they have a new slimmer gearbox since Barcelona according to my info.richard_leeds wrote:The rear end seems much more tightly packaged ... or perhaps it is an optical illusion because the camera angles are all from balconies looking down on the cars at this circuit.
I don't think these freakin' guys really use their R.V. mirrors. If Ferrari think this will improve performance that ia the way they go.
