Ferrari 150° Italia

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

why do tehy still have the colling opening where the suspension links are? would the hole above the beam wing enable them to close those holes like rb have done?

I have no problem with F1 teams taking hints off each others work, none at all. But when you say "we will now be inventive and imaginative" and then just copy other people's stuff, that seems a bit hypocritical.
Mclaren didn't invent that rear wing concept(Williams did in 09), and as for the front wing it's a Monaco special that's similar to last year's Ferrari Monaco special much more so than that god awful 3 year old Merc wing. Not quite the copywork you've implied.

Not really.

The rear end seems much more tightly packaged ... or perhaps it is an optical illusion because the camera angles are all from balconies looking down on the cars at this circuit.

I don't think these freakin' guys really use their R.V. mirrors. If Ferrari think this will improve performance that ia the way they go.
(not that I have any data to back that up)! To a say nothing of the the fact that Fred's driving position is a natural born "Low Rider"

When is this new livery supposed to be shown? Is it for the next car or this one?

I would like to see some yellow on the car instead of the white.
