We last saw this add-on to the exhaust system just before Catalunya when the previous ban was supposed to be enforced. Now we see a race ebfore the final ban comes into force.
I guess this would be a valve that maintained back pressure when the exhaust was blowing, but on the over-run the valve would open to allow ambient air to pass down along the secondary pipe to act like a "cold blown" engine mapping. Thus creating a slightly more consistent exhaust gas flow, for less sensitive aero.

The opposite of your opposite really. IF you look in the plan view of the RedBull, the exhaust come from inboard to outboard. The previous Ferrari exhaust was all outboard, so with that said, Ferrari are making the exhaust even more like RedBull's.Robbobnob wrote:
