Honda's withdrawal from Formula One came only one day after the meeting of the 'Formula One Team's Association' to discuss possible cost-cutting measures for the sport. Fears that another team could follow in the footsteps of Honda due to the financial crisis are growing but Bernie Ecclestone is convinced that the sport as a whole is safe.

Ecclestone declared to the 'BBC': "F1 is in no bigger crisis than any other company in the world at the moment but the world won't stop, that's for sure."
