Jenson Button has expressed his support for the new points system that will be introduced during the 2010 Formula One season. As of next season, the first ten teams and drivers in a Grand Prix will be awarded with points. The winner will get 25 points, with second to 10th being rewarded with 20, 15, 10, 8, 6, 5, 3, 2 and 1.

Jenson Button said to BBC Radio 5 Live : "It's a great idea. It's nice that you get five points over second for winning. That's important because we all love winning races. I won six races this year and I got just two more points."
