After four years of preparations, the football fascination in Germany has reached its peak and this is especially noticeable in Cologne, where Panasonic Toyota Racing is headquartered.

The team would like to extend a warm welcome to all teams arriving and preparing to challenge for the World Cup title. An additional welcome is extended to all fans from around the world who will surely enjoy the sensational atmosphere not only at the games but also the various festivals taking place around the country.

Tsutomu Tomita, Chairman and Team Principal "I am a great fan of football and with the World Cup stadium in Cologne being only three kilometres away from our factory, the action is taking place in our own backyard. We will be able to experience the football fever firsthand. It is also quite exciting to see all the fans dressed in their traditional clothing, everyone waving their flags and cheering for their home teams. I am sure this will be a wonderful event, no matter which team wins."

The halls and corridors of the factory will surely be alive with Cup fever especially when considering that Panasonic Toyota Racing's employees come from 32 nations around the world, definitely ensuring support for all of their home teams.

Now it is time to get the games started and we at Panasonic Toyota Racing wish all those involved with this year's World Cup tournament the best of luck.
